Julestocking

I am so happy to have found the perfect project to use my favorite crochettechnique! I love making overlay mandalas, but really, how many can you make?? So to make a stocking with the same techniques is the perfect thing to make. It’s fun to make and fun to give away, I mean, who doesn’t need a stocking? And being a Swede, stockings haven’t been a big thing so practically everyone needs one! 🙂

I started making a stocking where every round is different. I really love it, but I realized I would never have time to write the pattern in time for Christmas 2024 (but I do plan to release a similar pattern for 2025!) so I made a more repetative stocking for this year. Still lovely, I think!

I used 100 % nonsuperwash wool yarn, Rauma finull for my two ”main” stockings. Feel free to use any yarn and corresponding needle. I’ve also made one with Scheepjes Catona, (100 % cotton), but it needs much more yarn than using Rauma finull, so be prepared for that.

Here’s the pattern in English:

And the pattern in Swedish:

This is a free pattern, but I’ve spent a lot of time, energi and love writing it, so please treat it with respect. If you post pics of your finished objects from my patterns on social medias, I’d be happy if you tag me (Annimia77 on Instagram) and refer to this blog for the pattern, thanks.
